Carbide Glass Wheels | High-Speed Scoring

Fletcher’s carbide wheels are produced from a specially formulated micro-grain tungsten carbide material giving each cutting wheel extraordinary performance, strength, resilience with superior edge quality and easy, clean break out for glass products. Our wheels are produced using a CNC proprietary method for high-speed glass scoring applications and support quick order turnaround.

Pillar Posts & Inserts | Accommodate wheel OD’s ranging from 4.44mm to 6.22mm

Fletcher designs and manufactures pillar posts and tool posts for different configurations to meet machinery requirements for a variety of float plants and glass fabricators. Pillar posts accept ATF and M1 wheel holders, wheel axle assemblies and pre-assembled plastic and metal wheel units. They apply to any scoring application including self-centering and self-aligning and are available with and without oil lines.

Pre-assembled Metal Carbide Wheel Units

Fletcher’s pre-assembled metal carbide wheel units include one carbide cutting wheel and carbide or steel axle seated in a heavy duty metal clip. Metal wheel units easily slide into the pillar post holder and compress to the exact dimensions of the wheel. Made from our exclusively-formulated micro grain, our tungsten carbide wheels have extraordinary strength and resilience.

Plastic Carbide Wheel Units | Available with wheel angles ranging 120^o to 165^o

Fletcher’s pre-assembled plastic carbide wheel units include one carbide cutting wheel and carbide axle seated in a plastic insert holder. Units easily can be used in conjunction with applicable pillar posts across most brands of glass scoring machines.

Blister Packaged Wheel, Axle & Insert Assemblies

Blister packaging provides easy identification of components at the process line and for inventory control. Pre-assembled wheel holder/axle/cutting wheels provides easier handling versus individual components for process line operators. Products are easily separated due to perforations; 25 products per card and 100 per carton for easy storage.

Fletcher’s 3000 Wall Machine | Scores glass and acrylic

Features a 3-position cutting turret containing a glass scoring wheel, a scoring tip for scoring acrylic materials and a cutting blade for cardboard and similar materials up to 1/4" (6mm). The Fletcher 3000 is great for off-line prototype cutting, glass sizing, and low volume production cutting. Hand Held Glass Cutters | Available with wheel angles ranging 114^o to 145^o

Fletcher’s handheld glass cutters are designed and manufactured for use in float plants, glass fabrication, glazing and hardware. Several varieties are available including cutters with steel or carbide wheels, with or without oil.

Fletcher’s 8" Running and Nipping Pliers

Fletcher’s 8" Running and Nipping Pliers is a unique combo of running and breaking pliers. This tool is designed with interchangeable jaws that easily convert from breaking pliers to running pliers. Pliers break-out or nip glass up to 1⁄4" (6.35mm) thick.
